Accessibility Policy

The recordBar Lounge is proudly fully wheelchair accessible for all areas on the ground floor. There is an elevator to the balcony level as well, though it may not be fully wheelchair accessible. Persons with accessibility needs may check in 5-10 minutes before the doors open to request early entry to facilitate easier access to seating.

Camera Policy

Cameras and recording equipment are not allowed in the venue unless noted otherwise.

Child Policy

Most shows are 18+ only unless otherwise noted. Minors are allowed if accompanied by a legal guardian. State issued ID is required of all non-chaperoned guests, regardless of your age.

COVID-19 Related Policy

Kansas City has repealed the mask mandate. So as of Nov. 8, 2021, the venue no longer requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination. However, if the headlining artist for a show requires proof, then the venue will require proof to respect the artist’s wishes. Please be sure to check your event description to see if your upcoming show requires COVID-19 vaccination proof.

Please contact the recordBar office at (816) 753-5207 for any questions relating to current COVID-19 related policy

Late Arrival Policy

Doors typically open an hour before a performance begins. It’s suggested that you arrive early so you have plenty of time to find parking and get to your seat. House bells will even ring to alert guests about the start of the show.

Some events may bar entry for late entry. Please refer to your event description for more details.
